Lilac Guitar Lounge is excited to offer this 1965 Fender Mustang in it’s original Blue finish. This guitar is 100% original down to the screws holding it together! It’s a joy to play and comes with a very fast and liquid tremolo system for maximum surf rock tones. Featuring a rare "Slab" Brazilian Rosewood Fretboard, this guitar has one of few necks made for Mustangs and Jaguars in late 1965/early 1966. This guitar has had a lot of play time over the years and shows it - the clear coat over the Mustang Blue finish has yellowed but is worn down in a few spots to reveal the undercoat in spots. If you’re looking for a transitional Fender from the 60s on a budget, this is your guitar! We are so stoked to have this special instrument in the shop, so don’t hesitate to contact us and ask any questions you may have about this listing.
