Lilac Guitar Lounge is proud to bring you this 1967 Fender Coronado, in a rare Antigua original finish. This guitar was originally designed by Roger Rossmeisl at Fender to compete with other hollow and semi-hollow body electric guitars of the time, and though it has been less popular than other Fender models, Coronados have risen in popularity recently (artists like Noah Kahan and Lord Huron have been touring with vintage Coronados recently). This guitar has been played a lot, and shows general wear throughout, but it delivers a lovely sound and playing experience that stacks up to any other vintage Fender we’ve had in the shop. Nitrocellulose “Antigua” finish on body and matching headstock face. There is checking throughout, and this guitar has yellowed quite a bit from use. There is a small (1.5" x 1.5") imprint from a sticker that has since been removed from the guitar (see photos).
