Lilac Guitar Lounge presents this killer 1982 Fender Japan ‘52 Telecaster Reissue TL-52-65! Hailing from the first year of Fender Reissues, this is just about as cool as Fender Japan gets- this Telecaster is one of the very first made at the FujiGen factory in Japan under the Fender name. It is an extremely faithful reissue of a 1950’s “blackguard” type Telecaster, and sounds every bit the part. This is our favorite Telecaster to come through the shop, and it hurts to put it up for sale, but that’s the way it goes sometimes! This one is 99% original and looks and sounds like the classic Telecaster we’ve come to love from Fender, and is a great collector’s item as well as a player’s guitar if you were to tour or play in the studio with it. We are so stoked to have this special instrument in the shop, so don’t hesitate to contact us and ask about it.

Neck heel is pencil-dated “8-24-82.” There is a “65” sticker on the back of the headstock denoting this guitar as a TL-52-65, meaning this is a ‘52 reissue Telecaster, and is the “65” version.
