Lilac Guitar Lounge is proud to bring you this 1985 Fender Japan ST-57 Stratocaster in factory black. This guitar was made in 1985 at the famous FujiGen factory in Japan, and is a superb reissue of a 1957 Stratocaster (hence the ST-57 designation). This guitar is all original except for one pickguard screw and one neck fastening screw replaced. See the following specifications for details on the guitar, as well as the video in the description.

Original Black thin polyurethane finish on body, original polyurethane finish on neck.
Fingerboard Radius:

Nut Width / Neck Measurements:
1.675"(42.5mm) / .83"(21mm) deep at first fret, .95"(24mm) deep at twelfth fret
Neck heel dates to November 1985 (see photos). E serial number on the back of the neck dates to 1985 as well.
Weight:
7.5 lbs (3.4 kg). A very comfortable weight, and super resonant.
Electronics:
All Japanese Pickups - Bridge: 5.5k ohms / Middle: 5.5k ohms / Neck: 5.6k ohms
Some solder has been touched up on the neck/middle tone pot, but we believe all the electronics are original.
Hardware:
All original, some corrosion on the hardware as is common on Japanese Fenders from this era.
Modifications:
Solder touched up on one tone pot, and two screws replaced (neck screw and one pick guard screw).
Case Details:
Comes with a worn but intact gig bag.
Included:
Original Tremolo arm is included.

This is a killer strat that won't break the bank! These Japanese resissue guitars are very faithful to the original Fender designs, and make great gigging guitars- and are coming up in value as of late. This one has been played a lot, so you know it's a good one!
