Lilac Guitar Lounge presents a very cool 1999 Fender Japan Jazz Bass JB-62, in a fantastic 3 color sunburst. This is a very solid ‘62 reissue Jazz Bass, with a great tone and feel. It’s just over 25 years old and definitely has worn in a little bit, with the black of the edges being faded slightly, and the metal has worn to a vintage patina! If you’re a fan of classic Jazz Bass looks, feel, and sound- this one is for you, and at a great price. Electronics:
Original Japanese JB pickups, original Japanese pots, and wiring looks to be original as well. The original and nicely figured tortoise-shell pick guard is also present.
Hardware:
Original hardware is in good shape, with light patina from spending a lot of time near the ocean. No rust is present but there is slight corrosion to most of the metal parts on the bass.
