2007 Fender Japan JM-66 Jazzmaster 'Piano Black'

This is a 2007 Fender Japan JM-66 Jazzmaster in ‘Piano Black.’ This excellent reissue Jazzmaster looks amazing, and plays great! It offers everything you could want in a Jazzmaster, including great tremolo action, punchy sound, and power that can rival any Strat or Tele. This guitar comes in a rare configuration of ‘Piano Black’ finish with a non-matching headstock and a parchment pickguard. This is a very special example and quite uncommon outside of Japan, and we’re stoked to have this one in the shop.

Factory ‘Piano Black’ polyurethane finish on the body, amber polyurethane on the neck. 

Fretboard Radius: 

7.25” radius rosewood veneer fretboard.

Nut Width / Neck Measurements: 

1.6”(42.3mm) wide at the nut / .80" (21.1mm) deep at first fret, 1.0" (26.5mm) deep at twelfth fret. 25.5” scale length, with 21 frets, ‘clay’ dot inlays.

Original Japanese Pots and wiring, Upgraded Pure Vintage ‘65 American Jazzmaster Pickups (original Japanese pickups included in sale), replaced pickup switch.
